Attention

This cast iron teapot Jang cannot go into the dishwasher. It is best washed by hand. Do not use harsh detergents, just a little washing-up liquid. Afterwards, dry the teapot well with a clean tea towel.

It can happen that the teapot will rust. This can take place around the lid and spout. Want to prevent rust? You can do this by using a lightly oiled cloth to grease the outside and rim of the teapot with (olive) oil, for example. Do not use oil on the inside of the teapot! Put the teapot away without a lid, this will prevent rusting, or place a paper towel between the lid and the teapot.
